Jack and Chuck have gone home

It's been 4 days since the boys left and of course I still miss them. Their new family is amazing and I know the boys will have a great life. The fact that they went together makes their story even sweeter!

Austin Pets Alive! Sweet Barks 2010

Some of my favorite shots from the 2 annual Sweet Barks event. Ten puppies, 4 dogs and nearly $3000 was raised for Austin Pets Alive. Cash is still looking for his forever home.

Benny really was adopt-a-bull, he found his new family that day.

Chloe is still available and has come along way since being resucued by APA. To find out more about Cash or Chloe visit : http://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt/dogs/

Sweet Sunflower Surprise

I was feeling sick last week, so my wonderful boyfriend came home with this awesome bouquet! I love the sunflowers, they brightened my day and were a much appreciated break from the roses I usually get.
I know I have been slacking on the blogging all summer, but I just shot 3 rolls of film, one T-Max and two Velvia, and I can't wait to see what I got!

Fun with Fill Flash

My fabulous friend Ali was such a great sport as she posed in the afternoon heat.  Using two flashes, one on camera and one off, I experimented. My main goal being not to overexpose my background, I'd say I succeeded.

This last image does have some hot spots but Ali looked so sweet I decided not to hold it against myself.
