Summer Time!!

This sweet gal, Summer, has the cutest ears I have ever seen. They seem to be abnormally large and have as much personality as Summer herself. Summer had surgery yesterday on her bothersome eyelids and was not the least bit upset when I visited her today. She loves attention and deserves to find a loving home. I had been looking to photograph a hay field for awhile and finally got my chance last weekend on my way back from Houston. The sky and the lighting were just about perfect on another beautiful Sunday morning.

I love reading Elle magazine and am always inspired by their photography, it's so fresh and beautiful! I decided to try something new, so I borrowed Brittany for a quick shoot. 

With the late afternoon sun, these images embody the Hill Country summers I just can't get enough of. Hard to believe this young lady just finished the 8 grade!

Austin Greenbelt

I have lived in Austin since over 8 years and am embarrassed to admit that this was my first trip to the greenbelt. I am sorry I didn't discover it sooner!
